Short Boat Ride on the River

A fictional short story about family violence, this story won an honourable mention in the Indignor House Short Story Competition. It was included in the anthology of short fiction, Fear.

A fictional short story about a woman who decides to go for a swim in the river at night, and has an unexpected encounter.

Hawthorne Amplified

In 2020, I led an experiential learning project at Hawthorne Public School in Ottawa. I supported refugee-background middle school students in applying for and securing a successful $ 5,000 grant, and in creating a science fiction film, Unaffected, in partnership with Youth Ottawa. https://www.youthottawa.ca/the-hawthorne-project/
